We've got you covered! This week will be a fun outdoor camp experience - not far from home! Pick the days your child needs care, or have them come all four days! Each day will include activities such as archery, canoeing, outdoor living skills, fishing, GPS/orienteering, volleyball, swimming, arts and crafts, team building, hiking, nd more! This unique opportunity will take place at Voyageur Camp, a year-round environmental education center located in Mound. Voyageur Environmental Center is located at 7000 County Road 15. Campers will need to bring their own bag lunch and water bottle each day. Summer 2020 Catalog 2020 Some programs available for registration now* *At this time, Summer 2020 youth enrichment classes Sessions 1 - 4 for Preschool, Grades K-4 and GMS Grades 5-7 will not be available for registration. These four sessions originally scheduled for Monday - Thursdays, June 15-25, July 6-16, July 20-30, and August 3-13 are on hold. More information will be forthcoming as we follow current guidelines issued by Governor Walz and his advisors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are excited to show you the wide variety of activities and programs that we have planned for students of all ages! We remain hopeful that many of these programs will still be able to be offered. We know that conditions change day to day and sometimes hour to hour. There is no penalty if you register for a Summer program that is later canceled - we will reimburse registration fees for all canceled activities. We are all in this together! #WestonkaSpirit WEstonka American Red Cross affiliated Lessons The following is an update to Summer 2020 swim programs : Lessons for the three Summer sessions have now been canceled. Families will be notified and refunds will be processed this week. Families are asked to consider enrolling in an individual lesson format with a maximum of three students participating at one time. Lessons will be eight - 30 minute sessions, meeting Monday through Thursday for two weeks at a cost of $115; June 15 - 25, July 6 - 16, and July 27 - August 6. One to One Private Tutoring A tutor will work with you and your child through an evaluation process, testing, goal setting and will personalize tutoring sessions to fit the needs of your child. Licensed teachers from the District are on staff. Please complete a birthday party rental agreement at least three weeks in advance of anticipated date for party. A party is not confirmed until you have spoken with a WAC staff member and received an email confirmation. Fees are as follows for up to 15 children and two adults ($5 per additional guest). The birthday child and family receive one free daily admission, and the birthday guest receives a t-shirt. Party room only : (2 hours) Activity center member rate - $40, non-member rate - $60 Gym (1.5 hours) and Party Room (1 hour) includes use of gym equipment; (batting cages and bounce house are available on request for additional fee of $30 each) - Activity Center member rate - $79, non-member rate - $95 Pool (1.5 hours) and Party Room (1 hour) includes 2 certified lifeguards and use of pool equipment and lily pad upon request; additional lifeguards $30 each - Activity Center member rate - $129, non-member rate $145.
